Responsibilities
- Design, test, and program critical applications for clients in complex or mission-critical environments.
- Pipeline software development from requirements through production testing using automation and cloud resources.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, security scanning, artifact management, and multi-environment deployment.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions involving containers, Kubernetes, cloud services, networking, identity, data services, and deployment patterns.
- Develop and support backend applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, and automation services.
- Use Terraform and scripting languages to automate infrastructure, deployments, testing, monitoring, operations, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with technical professionals to improve continuous automation across cloud providers and technical stacks.
- Triage and resolve issues involving open-source and commercial tools in government cloud environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience delivering DevOps or DevSecOps solutions for complex enterprise or mission-critical environments, including cloud migration, application modernization, or cloud adoption.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting backend applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, and automation services using Python, Java, C#/.NET, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, or Cloud One.
- Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience using Terraform and scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell, or PowerShell.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; an existing Secret clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD is preferred.
- Security+ Certification is preferred.
