Base Salary

$88k - $131k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, debug, configure, integrate, test, and deploy Java/J2EE software for C2BMC Regional Applications.
  • Implement features, enhance existing capabilities, resolve complex problems, and optimize performance for operational missile defense missions.
  • Translate requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams into robust software components.
  • Apply coding standards, code reviews, automated testing, build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
  • Provide technical support for development, integration, operational, and fielded software environments.
  • Prepare technical documentation including design descriptions, test plans, test results, and user support materials.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, integration, test, and operations teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus 2 years of experience; alternatively, a related master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
  • Current, active, in-scope government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, required to start.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE or another object-oriented language; additional C++ experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, automated build pipelines, configuration management, and version control.
  • Understanding of systems engineering artifacts such as Use Cases and SysML diagrams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Preferred experience includes Linux-based enterprise applications, Windows, DevSecOps, build and release management, Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse, large distributed systems, C2BMC, missile defense, command and control, or DoD systems.
