Base Salary

$75k - $114k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, develop, document, test, and validate software systems and applications.
  • Participate in software design reviews and follow the defined software lifecycle and coding standards.
  • Support algorithm design from detailed software requirements and reuse developed software across multiple programs.
  • Write unit tests, debug code, and contribute to process improvement efforts.
  • Deliver work according to agreed completion dates, project schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with multiple software development teams and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
  • Work under moderate supervision in a continuous learning environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2–5 years of relevant Windows or Linux application software development experience.
  • Object-oriented design experience and expertise in C#/.NET, C++, and/or Qt.
  • Expertise in Unity development, unit testing, and debugging code.
  • Experience with formal, structured software lifecycle development and Agile software development process management.
  • Demonstrated mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with SVN, Git, IDEs, and debuggers.
  • Understanding of data structures, databases, operating systems, system design, and basic networking.
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, CIGI real-time image generator experience, and experience with UAS, drones, or robotics.
  • Ability to travel occasionally and meet ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements.
