Base Salary
$75k - $114k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, test, document, and debug software systems and applications for enhancements and new products.
- Participate in software design reviews and implement code according to established coding standards and software processes.
- Write unit tests, validate software, and contribute to process improvement efforts.
- Support algorithm design based on detailed software requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple software development teams and reuse software across programs.
- Deliver work according to agreed schedules, completion dates, and project budgets.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
- Occasionally travel and work in an office environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience developing Windows or Linux application software.
- Object-oriented design experience and expertise in C#/.NET, C++, and/or Qt.
- Expertise in Unity development.
- Experience writing unit tests, debugging code, and working with formal software life-cycle processes.
- Familiarity with source code configuration management tools such as SVN and Git, as well as IDEs and debuggers.
- Demonstrated mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, CIGI real-time image generator experience, and experience with UAS, drones, or robotics.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR/EAR U.S.-person or export-license requirements; some positions require current U.S. citizenship.
