Base Salary
$70k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan test strategies, design tests, execute testing, and recommend improvements to product quality.
- Develop automated software test infrastructure and frameworks.
- Perform integration testing, informal manual testing, formal software qualification testing, troubleshooting, fielding, support, and maintenance.
- Test embedded software and embedded-adjacent applications used in analysis tools, simulations, mission planning, and mission-critical systems.
- Review, edit, and generate engineering and testing documentation according to industry standards.
- Collaborate frequently with software developers and other team members and communicate with senior leadership and government customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least 2 years of relevant technical experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
- Experience testing or troubleshooting embedded software or embedded-adjacent applications that interface with, operate, monitor, support, simulate, control, or communicate with embedded systems.
- Experience performing software testing on multidisciplinary projects and implementing software test automation.
- Software development experience in C#/.NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Preferred experience with automated UI testing, applicable industry standards, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, guidance and control algorithms, navigation systems, mission planning systems, sensors, MBSE, SysML, and hardware-software integration.
