Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services for identity document processing and verification.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science/Machine Learning, and Infrastructure teams to implement new features.
- Drive improvements in code quality, testing coverage, and CI/CD practices.
- Own backend architecture decisions and advocate for best practices in API design.
- Analyze production metrics to refine system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the integration of machine learning and computer vision components.
- Work closely with frontend and mobile teams to define API contracts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping modern backend services or distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in backend programming languages such as GoLang, Java, or Scala.
- Experience building scalable, high-availability microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization and backend security best practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
