Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans for security features.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests.
- Build test frameworks and automated test tooling.
- Investigate and debug issues discovered through testing.
- Report test results clearly to dependent teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and Engineering Program Managers to plan work and align on testing approaches.
- Coordinate across teams as priorities change.
- Mentor engineers and lead cross-team quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Typically 5 or more years of experience as a Software QA Automation Engineer or equivalent demonstrated capability.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, or Python.
- Experience developing test frameworks and automated test tooling.
- Experience designing automated and manual tests that identify difficult-to-find defects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for aligning stakeholders across teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate issues independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond efficiently.
- Preferred: familiarity with macOS/iOS platform technologies.
- Preferred: experience using Xcode to write, triage, and debug automation scripts.
- Preferred: track record of mentoring engineers and leading cross-team quality initiatives.
