Responsibilities
- Perform subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem integration, system integration, and testing.
- Participate in software requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness reviews, and software acceptance reviews.
- Research technical problems and develop solutions while working collaboratively on real-time, mission-critical defense systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in real-time mission-critical development, maintenance, or support, including relevant architecture, operating environment, model-based tools, information assurance, tools development, safety analysis, data analysis, problem analysis, or system integration experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance and other required authorizations; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience with object-oriented software design and development, design patterns, software insulation techniques, and plugins.
- Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python and working in Windows, Solaris, and Linux environments.
- Experience developing Solaris and other UNIX scripts; strong skills with Microsoft Office and IDEs such as Eclipse; familiarity with UML and driver-based or automated test environments.
- Preferred experience includes Clearcase, JIRA, xUnit Framework, JUnit, CPPUnitLite, CMMI Level 5 life-cycle processes, procedures, and assemblers.
