Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous product ideas into feasible technical approaches and provide engineering input during early-stage product design.
- Guide multiple concept teams on priorities, sequencing, execution strategy, architecture, risks, constraints, and dependencies.
- Lead structured feasibility assessments and explain technical decisions to nontechnical peers and senior leaders.
- Develop technical build-cost, operating-cost, and unit-economics models and integrate them into broader product cost models.
- Assess technology capabilities and differentiated technology opportunities with internal and external groups.
- Coordinate with enterprise architecture on alignment and divergence from BBH IT and security standards.
- Support prototypes, technical interfaces, and lightweight implementations for product validation.
- Oversee external development partners and ensure alignment with BBH innovation standards and practices.
- Collaborate with Design, Research, Product, and senior leadership Functional Leads on product concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10–15 years of experience leading technical design and architecture for complex greenfield products.
- Extensive experience delivering cloud-based and/or enterprise-grade B2B solutions is preferred.
- Strong experience with modern application architectures, including APIs, SaaS platforms, AI/ML, and Generative AI where applicable.
- Ability to estimate complex, multilayered projects, navigate uncertainty, identify risks and tradeoffs, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to nontechnical and senior audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with concept owners, designers, researchers, and engineers.
- Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- Background in financial modeling for technology investments or product unit economics.
- Industry experience relevant to digital product innovation.

- The listed base salary range is $170,000–$230,000 for Massachusetts and New Jersey locations, with variation possible based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
