Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate automotive embedded software product solutions.
- Maintain technical communication with engineering teams and systems integration regarding technical issues.
- Participate in program core teams and present engineering deliverables.
- Develop solutions that meet customer needs and comply with MISRA and other regulatory standards.
- Maintain technical, process, design, program, and patent-support records.
- Review products for Design for Excellence, including manufacturing, assembly, cost, testability, reliability, and ergonomics.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in an automotive embedded software product design role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience with automotive project launch cycles and automotive APQP terminology.
- Strong knowledge of C programming, model-based design, architectural design, engineering calculations, and analysis.
- Experience coding with LIN, CAN, and UDS diagnostics.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR software architecture and related tools.
- Familiarity with automotive C coding rules, software build and release processes, integration, validation processes, and related tools.
- Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO-26262 is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
