Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain NXOpen applications, custom tools, and automation solutions within Siemens NX.
  • Implement engineering algorithms, design constraints, and manufacturing requirements as user-friendly software solutions.
  • Build integrations between NX, Teamcenter PLM, and downstream manufacturing systems.
  • Develop data pipelines supporting digital engineering and Design for Manufacturing workflows.
  • Create custom NX user interfaces using NX Open UIStyler, Block UI, and Reuse Library Dialogs.
  • Manage code repositories, version control, documentation, testing, validation, deployment, and software development practices.
  • Partner with deployment and sustainment teams on enterprise implementation and long-term maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Siemens NX Open API, Teamcenter SOA (TcSOA), and C#.
  • Experience working in Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM environments.
  • Understanding of Design for Manufacturing, engineering best practices, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience developing process automation solutions and engineering workflows.
  • Ability to create custom NX user interfaces and integrate business logic into user-facing applications.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include production vehicle or product design experience in NX, automated testing and unit test development, downstream CAD data and digital thread knowledge, manufacturing/tooling/fixture design or production engineering experience, GitHub and Jira familiarity, Teamcenter ITK/RAC customizations, GPDL tools, and Siemens Knowledge Fusion.
