Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CORE scrum team, Systems Architect, development leaders, business stakeholders, and other developers.
- Design and implement enhancements through substantial software architecture, design, and coding work.
- Develop multi-layered business, application, data, and infrastructure architectures.
- Build scalable, high-quality systems for back-office microservices, mobile, web, and in-vehicle customer platforms.
- Develop and maintain Java and JEE business solutions and 12-factor microservices.
- Build and maintain automated continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Support production applications through incident management and triage.
- Implement interface patterns including RESTful APIs and event-based messaging.
- Use observability, notification, cloud, container, and platform infrastructure technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Six years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role.
- Six years of experience delivering Java and JEE business solutions, working in agile and DevOps environments, and developing microservices with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Six years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, Git, JUnit, Dynatrace, ELK, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, YAML, Swagger, Insomnia, Maven, Azure compute services, AKS, Istio, Argo CD, and observability tools.
- Six years of experience supporting production applications, including incident management, triage, notification platforms, Firebase Messaging, and Apple Push Notification Service.
- Five years of experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps Server, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Black Duck, Chef, and SonarQube.
- Five years of experience writing basic SQL queries and working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra NoSQL databases.
- Five years of experience designing and implementing container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Five years of experience with ELK stack and Kibana dashboarding.
- Four years of experience with Behavior-Driven Development and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- Four years of experience using platform and infrastructure-as-a-service technologies, including object storage, configuration management, and service registries.
