Responsibilities
- Develop and own backend microservices for firmware OTA campaign execution, package building, vehicle interactions, and update delivery.
- Design and implement business features, database schemas, flow sequences, interfaces, and API specifications.
- Deploy services across environments using CI/CD pipelines and support users and production issue resolution.
- Improve platform quality, performance, scalability, reliability, security, and other non-functional requirements.
- Create technical designs, break features into stories, estimate work, and document implementation guidance.
- Lead peer reviews and pull requests while driving team development processes, technical standards, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development, product management, architecture, stakeholders, and the user community to derive solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role.
- Five years of experience developing software for complex cloud-native platforms.
- Five years of experience developing 12-factor microservices using Spring and Spring Boot with continuous integration, build, and delivery practices.
- Five years of experience with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.
- Five years of experience developing Java and Spring Boot components and using Spring Cloud, REST, Kafka, Pulsar, JMS, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Akka Framework.
- Five years of experience debugging, triaging, and analyzing production issues with tools including the ELK stack and Prometheus.
- Experience with cloud computing concepts and Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
