
Senior Software Engineer – Connectivity Software Verification

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end verification strategy for Bluetooth, Digital Key, telematics, WLAN, and VLAN connectivity features through release readiness.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated system, integration, regression, negative, stress, and long-run tests.
- Build and extend Python-based test frameworks, harnesses, simulators, stubs, mocks, log parsers, and supporting utilities.
- Debug and triage connectivity issues across Bluetooth, Digital Key, telematics control units, and networking layers using logs, traces, and protocol analyzers.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines, stabilize recurring runs, and report quality signals and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with embedded software, systems, architecture, cybersecurity, performance, and validation teams to improve testability and resolve defects.
- Mentor junior engineers in test design, automation, and debugging techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software verification, validation, or quality engineering with substantial hands-on test development.
- Experience testing embedded or real-time systems, preferably in automotive, mobile, telecommunications, or networking domains.
- Programming or scripting skills for test automation, especially Python; C, C++, or Java familiarity is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Digital Key, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy, WLAN, VLAN, TCP, UDP, routing, DNS, and security protocols.
- Experience designing and executing system-level, integration, regression, negative, stress, and long-run tests.
- Familiarity with test management, defect tracking, continuous integration environments, Jenkins, and Git-based workflows.
- Experience debugging with logs, traces, Bluetooth sniffers, network analyzers, and CAN tools.
- Preferred experience includes automotive connectivity or infotainment systems, ECU configurations, CAN, LIN, SOME/IP, UDS, Ethernet in-vehicle networking, UWB, NFC, secure storage, mobile app integration, Robot Framework, HIL testing, GitHub Actions, mentoring, customer-feedback analysis, dashboards, and test-result metrics.
