
Senior Software Engineer

- Lead requirements definition, functional decomposition, analysis, development, testing, and technical solution design for software programs.
- Develop and maintain software toolchains and test tools for CAN serial-data and Ethernet communication across vehicle architectures.
- Design and execute performance validation strategies and tests for software features and systems.
- Lead software system design, anomaly correction, and complex design analysis activities.
- Translate complex vehicle scenarios into lower-level simulated environments for testing and validation.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers, manufacturing, and integration teams on software integration and deployment.
- Create and maintain design specifications, test plans, user guides, and root-cause analysis reports.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and promote software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Require at least 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Python and/or C#.
- Require high-level experience with Vector and CAPL scripts and strong experience developing and maintaining software toolchains.
- Require knowledge of serial data, CAN communication, SOME/IP Ethernet communication, multiple vehicle architectures, and complex vehicle scenarios.
- Require experience translating vehicle scenarios into simulated environments for testing and validation.
- Require experience with automotive cybersecurity and Ethernet communication protocol debugging using tools such as Wireshark.
- Require ability to lead technical solution development, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers, create technical documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
