Responsibilities
- Build, integrate, and optimize the Mechatronic Abstraction Interface.
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned software products, including requirements, system design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Participate in designing GM’s in-vehicle Abstracted Mechatronic Platform for its new electronic architecture.
- Develop solutions that conform to requirements for scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Consultant, or in a related occupation, or a master’s degree in a related field plus three years of relevant experience.
- At least one year of experience with automotive control systems using RTOS platforms.
- At least one year of experience programming and debugging complex codebases in C and C++.
- At least one year of experience with shell and Python scripting languages.
- At least one year of experience with automotive CAN and LIN serial communication protocols.
- At least one year of experience with AUTOSAR and Adaptive AUTOSAR development.
- At least one year of experience with service-oriented communication protocols including SOME/IP, DDS, and REST.
- At least one year of experience with Scrum/Agile software development processes and SCM tools.
