Responsibilities
- Lead technical solutions through requirements specification, functional decomposition, development, and testing.
- Develop embedded AUTOSAR software in C and configure the Vector AUTOSAR stack.
- Develop QNX, Linux, and Android software for SoC diagnostics using C++ and Java.
- Integrate CAN communication, ECU power modes, and support for HMI applications.
- Perform complex design analysis, specify and balance system requirements, and enhance existing software capabilities.
- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, static code analysis, defect root-cause analysis, debugging, and corrective fixes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for at least one platform or application component.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving vehicle hardware and software.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to meet project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of embedded software development experience.
- At least 3 years of programming experience in C, C++, and Java.
- Familiarity with scripting languages including Python.
- Experience with AUTOSAR software development, Linux, and Android.
- Hands-on vehicle-level debugging experience, including CAN, Ethernet, and diagnostics.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Vector DaVinci tools is preferred.
