Responsibilities
- Lead feature and experience quality activities across future vehicle architecture.
- Perform technical analysis, define quality gaps, and develop test cases for owned features.
- Build and run automated tests on benches and in vehicles, including writing automation code.
- Establish software quality methodologies and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across engineering pillars.
- Track Jira tickets and support debugging, issue resolution, and feature launches.
- Promote secure, scalable, resilient solutions and engineering practices including CI/CD, observability, performance optimization, and automation.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders on technical strategy and customer experience prioritization.
- Foster collaboration across globally distributed engineering organizations.
- Travel to client sites domestically approximately 20% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus six years of experience as a Software Validation Engineer, Quality Engineer, or related occupation; or a relevant master’s degree plus four years of such experience.
- Four years of experience working on benches and in vehicles.
- Four years of experience using programming to run test cases on benches and in vehicles.
- Four years of experience launching features with quality testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Four years of experience interpreting vehicle architectures and performing project management.
- Four years of experience writing automation code for benches or vehicles.
- Four years of experience building and integrating vehicle benches from scratch, including wire harnesses and power supplies.
