Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software and device drivers for automotive display systems.
- Develop Linux software to control display power, configuration, and activation.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, system architects, software teams, and SoC vendors on platform integration.
- Optimize performance, memory usage, startup time, and power efficiency for embedded systems.
- Contribute to production-quality software using embedded development best practices for automotive and safety-critical domains.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Experience with Linux-based embedded operating systems and commercial embedded systems.
- Experience developing or integrating display software, device drivers, or display hardware.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems.
- Understanding of embedded hardware architectures, processors, memory management, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART communication protocols.
- Understanding of Linux kernel frameworks including DRM/KMS, DMA, V4L2, and device trees.
- Familiarity with ARM architectures.
- Experience with SoC and display hardware bring-up, validation, and system-level testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Preferred experience with DisplayPort, HDMI, MIPI DSI, automotive software, or safety-critical software development.
