Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern programming languages.
- Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces including I2C, SPI, and CAN.
- Develop security features for satellite systems.
- Support board bring-up and integration with hardware and software teams.
- Participate in software development from requirements through implementation, testing, and operations.
- Contribute to satellite functions including power management, hardware interfaces, command and telemetry, and autonomous control.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: technical knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or individuals granted asylum due to export-control requirements.
