Base Salary
$226k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the roadmap for performance tooling, frameworks, and methodologies for scalable AV software development.
- Evaluate and prototype tools, techniques, and technologies that improve runtime performance and developer workflows.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated systems for performance analysis, debugging, and continuous monitoring.
- Analyze software behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with product teams on optimizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus four years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation, or a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus two years of such experience.
- At least two years of experience with computer architecture and system-level software fundamentals.
- At least two years of experience with performance profiling, analysis, tuning, and optimization.
- At least two years of experience developing and optimizing high-performance software for heterogeneous compute environments, including GPUs, DSPs, and accelerators.
- At least two years of experience with C++ and Python.
