Responsibilities
- Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of the Ruby on Rails application.
- Design and optimize data storage using PostgreSQL and object storage services.
- Build features for teams, organizations, and developer communities.
- Develop integrations with external platforms.
- Review and shape peer code for quality, security, and best practices.
- Collaborate frequently with team members, stakeholders, and customers in English.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience with AWS and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CSS, SASS, HTML, and templating or styling languages.
- Experience building web applications with REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Production experience with Node.js and TypeScript across Rails and Node/TypeScript stacks.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- A college degree is not required.
