Responsibilities
- Contribute to product architecture and design while solving complex engineering problems collaboratively.
- Develop and operate scalable billing software, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Build and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Apply test-driven development and automated testing practices using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
- Support software products in user environments and help modernize legacy processes.
- Coach junior team members on technologies and XP practices.
- Participate in standups, retrospectives, iteration planning, and backlog refinement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing scalable RESTful APIs and implementing event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
- Strong experience with Test-Driven Development and automated testing.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, or similar testing technologies.

- Preferred qualifications include agentic AI application development, Swagger/OpenAPI, API lifecycle management, Python, Microsoft Fabric, and Agile or XP development practices.
