Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and govern reusable cloud platforms and self-service workflows across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Lead AWS architecture and governance for IAM, Organizations, EventBridge, EC2, S3, billing, cross-account roles, security guardrails, and access controls.
- Implement auditable delivery automation with version control, CI/CD, progressive delivery, policy-as-code, secrets management, automated testing, and rollback standards.
- Lead Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code architecture, module creation, state management, provider configuration, drift detection, and configuration lifecycle management.
- Automate event-driven remediation, scheduled operations, account lifecycles, compliance, tagging, rightsizing, savings commitments, and waste reduction.
- Normalize cloud billing and usage data into reporting for business, finance, and engineering stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership, operational ownership, documentation, runbooks, testing standards, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Professional experience operating or engineering cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AWS IAM, Organizations, account and access patterns, EC2, S3, EventBridge, and cloud APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitOps and DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and production change management.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, especially with Terraform; exposure to Pulumi or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong automation and scripting ability in Python, Go, or a comparable language.
- Working knowledge of GCP and Azure governance, IAM, resource organization, billing, and automation concepts.
