Responsibilities
- Own key technical areas across LLM, MLLM, and CV product portfolio.
- Provide technical leadership to junior scientists.
- Research and develop techniques in LLM, MLLMs, GenAI, and Computer Vision.
- Design and implement efficient MLLM models for multimodal data.
- Explore novel approaches for NLP, NLU, and object detection challenges.
- Optimize AI models for performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers to leverage hardware accelerators.
- Evaluate model performance using real-world datasets.
- Stay updated with research trends in machine learning and computer vision.
- Contribute to patent disclosures and academic publications.
- Coach and mentor junior scientists.
Requirements
- PhD with 5+ years of experience for ML Scientist, 8+ years for Sr. ML Scientist.
- Proven track record of research excellence in LLM, MLLM, and Computer Vision.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C/C++, and deep learning frameworks.
- Experience in the ML development lifecycle and model training.
- Ability to deliver high-quality models for AI projects at scale.
- Experience in developing computer vision algorithms for resource-constrained devices is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts.
