Base Salary
$117k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, maintain, and expand security services supporting Amazon’s internal systems and networks and the U.S. intelligence community.
- Participate in automated releases, testing, operational support, root-cause analysis, and an on-call rotation.
- Mentor Systems and Systems Development Engineers in their career growth.
- Work backward from customers to develop features that meet end-user needs.
Requirements
- An associate degree, Cloud+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP is required.
- At least 3 years of Linux systems administration experience is required.
- At least 2 years of networking experience involving areas such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, the OSI Model, and TCP/IP is required.
- A current, active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph or equivalent agency-specific clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include information security and compliance experience, A+, N+, Sec+, Linux+, LPIC-1, or equivalent certification, documentation and runbook improvement, operations automation, mentoring experience, and scripting or coding proficiency.
