Responsibilities
- Lead technical account strategy and execution for Databricks use cases in strategic customer accounts.
- Own onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and healthy consumption for agreed customer workloads.
- Serve as the first contact for production and go-live technical issues and questions.
- Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding, Technical Services, Support, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Create and execute plans to accelerate use cases into production and coordinate Professional Services engagement proposals.
- Develop execution plans covering use-case delivery, user growth, product adoption, optimization, and executive and operational governance.
- Navigate Product and Engineering teams for innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
- Report customer health, usage, investment status, risks, product adoption, and use-case progression to the Technical GM.
- Build customer stakeholder and executive relationships while driving growth in assigned customers and use cases.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience accountable for technical project or program delivery in Data and AI, including customer-facing technical debate and design decisions.
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting.
- Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems and of how to connect business value to project deliverables.
- Technical program or project management experience with account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
- Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
- Experience with discovery workshops, strategic roadmaps, business analysis, and complex program or project delivery.
- Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
