Responsibilities
- Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
- Analyze information and evaluate results to select effective solutions.
- Apply computer science course knowledge to real-world problems.
- Create and support a team while working with peers, managers, and other teams.
- Develop and support scalable, distributed software systems and Google products and services.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science or a related technical field.
- Be in the penultimate academic year of the bachelor's or master's degree program.
- Have software development and coding experience in at least one general-purpose programming language.
- Preferred knowledge includes web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, large software systems, or security software development.
- Ability to showcase technology projects and participate in computer science-related extracurricular activities.
- Ability to complete a 10–12 week internship at the assigned office.
