Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and optimize robust software applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with consulting teams, BCG X teams, practice areas, and clients on complex technology projects.
- Build web applications and APIs using a range of programming languages, web frameworks, and API technologies.
- Deploy applications to cloud platforms and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Apply software development expertise to accelerate project execution and deliver solutions for international engagements.
- Contribute to performance optimization, technical communities, and collaborative solution development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Strong coding skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, Ruby, Rust, or C#; experience with multiple languages is preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Angular.
- Solid experience creating APIs using REST or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP and the ability to deploy effectively on these platforms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Neo4j, and Redis.
- Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or similar systems is valued.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code technologies is valued.
- Proven end-to-end application development experience, preferably in a commercial or consulting environment.
- Experience optimizing software for performance and efficiency.
- Active contributions to open-source projects or technical communities are highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
