Base Salary
$105k - $124k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build REST APIs, event-driven services, integrations, and distributed systems using Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Build AI-powered applications using LLMs, generative AI, intelligent automation, and RAG architectures.
- Implement vector database, embeddings, semantic search, and prompt engineering capabilities for contextual AI experiences.
- Integrate applications with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent AI platforms.
- Support DevOps practices including automated testing, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes deployments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders; conduct code reviews and contribute to technical designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI application development.
- Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Strong cloud engineering experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
- Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, application security, observability, AI governance, and responsible AI principles.
