Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously develop AWS infrastructure.
- Design and manage Docker- and Kubernetes-based microservice deployments for efficient scaling.
- Automate deployment workflows using GitLab CI and Terraform.
- Document infrastructure configurations and operational processes.
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions across integration, staging, and production environments.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues and respond quickly to system alerts and incidents.
- Work closely with internal application teams to support their use of the platform.
- Monitor industry trends and evaluate technologies that improve platform performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Strong experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
- Confident use of containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and with Terraform.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Go.
- Strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating with agile development teams and internal stakeholders.
