Responsibilities
- Build interactive 2D and 3D maps and geospatial overlays showing real-time robot telemetry, sensor data, and mission routes.
- Develop a resilient, low-latency video player interface supporting multiple simultaneous streams without freezing the main UI thread.
- Create operator tools for drawing waypoints, setting mission parameters, and issuing commands to robot fleets.
- Design performant state management for high-frequency backend data while preventing UI jitter and memory leaks.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and mission-planning algorithm designers to refine operator workflows.
- Maintain strict frontend performance targets, including consistent 60fps rendering during frequent map updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5–6 years of experience shipping production-grade web applications with complex data visualization.
- Deep understanding of complex state management and real-time data flow.
- Experience with geospatial mapping libraries such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or Cesium, or rendering APIs such as WebGL or Canvas.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Prior experience in defense, aerospace, fintech, or other high-reliability domains where real-time data rendering is critical.
- Ability to design interfaces for high-stress environments with strong awareness of UX and cognitive load.
- Proven leadership, ownership of frontend architecture, and a mission-driven, product-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary startup environment.
