Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction of SIXT’s MLOps/LLMOps platform.
- Make build-versus-buy decisions and remain accountable for platform architecture and technical quality.
- Review code and designs and contribute hands-on through prototypes, debugging, and implementation.
- Own the platform vision, roadmap, backlog, priorities, tradeoffs, and delivered value.
- Run stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives while driving technical decisions and removing blockers.
- Represent platform users and translate their needs into capabilities that encourage adoption.
- Manage dependencies and risks and align international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production software, with the ability to read unfamiliar codebases, review pull requests, and implement fixes or prototypes.
- Experience designing and evaluating platform architectures rather than delegating technical direction.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Product Owner, or Engineering Lead with real roadmap and backlog responsibility.
- Solid understanding of ML and LLM lifecycles and platform engineering.
- Thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools in a reviewable, reliable, and useful engineering workflow.
- Experience with Python and infrastructure-as-code is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, SageMaker, Bedrock, Docker, Kubernetes, LLM gateways, RAG, or agentic frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain is preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics and influence decisions in an international environment.
