Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded security testing, controls, guardrails, and automated checks.
- Strengthen application and cloud-native security across Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Translate security requirements into practical standards, solutions, and guardrails for AI/ML, MLOps, Data Science, and engineering teams.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and help remediate CVEs and other vulnerabilities with application teams.
- Contribute to security testing, monitoring, observability, tooling, and continuous application-security improvement.
- Work closely with developers and engineering teams to embed security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a DevSecOps or Application Security Engineer.
- Senior/staff-level technical depth, independence, and ownership of complex security topics.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and GitHub, GitLab, or comparable tooling.
- Expertise in application and cloud-native security, including Kubernetes and container security.
- Experience with vulnerability management, CVEs, security scanning, triage, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions and collaborate closely with developers.
- Experience with Python and Data & AI/ML environments is preferred.
