Responsibilities

  • Own the DGX Cloud security design standard and create actionable reference architectures, golden paths, and engineering requirements.
  • Embed with engineering teams to design, code, ship, and operate secure platform capabilities.
  • Drive the multi-year architecture for hardened baselines, patch SLOs, deploy-time policy, admission control, workload identity, supply-chain signing and attestation, and GPU-focused detection and response.
  • Threat model complex distributed systems and eliminate recurring classes of risk through architecture, baselines, paved roads, and detections.
  • Lead, hire, coach, and set technical direction for a small team of Principal Engineers.
  • Represent DGX Cloud with NVIDIA’s central security organization and collaborate with platform, production engineering, and network security teams.
  • Communicate security gaps, risks, and trade-offs to executives and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven ownership of large-platform security architecture across multi-tenant isolation, identity and access, policy enforcement, supply chain, and detection.
  • Deep experience writing, shipping, and operating production services at scale and reading unfamiliar codebases to identify security weaknesses.
  • Strong threat-modeling experience for distributed systems, orchestration layers, tenancy boundaries, and substrates.
  • Cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, Linux systems security, kernel-level primitives, and high-throughput multi-tenant environment experience.
  • Typically 7+ years leading and growing senior technical talent, including engineers with deeper domain expertise.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience; alternatively, a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with equivalent experience and at least 18+ years of practical engineering experience.
  • Preferred experience securing HPC environments, RDMA-based networks, large GPU fleets, or GPU-specific systems.
  • Preferred depth in hardware roots of trust, attestation, TPM/HSM integration, confidential computing, or workload identity frameworks.
  • Notable security open-source contributions, standards work, or engineering-focused security research are preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of 320,000 USD to 488,750 USD, plus equity and benefits.
