Responsibilities
- Onboard applications and assets into security governance and vulnerability management processes.
- Support threat modeling, security gate checks, security assessments, and security posture dashboards.
- Perform risk-based vulnerability triage and prioritization using defined service-level expectations and scoring methods.
- Contribute to patching, hardening, endpoint, network, identity, resilience, and recovery initiatives.
- Embed security controls and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support third-party security intake, vendor documentation reviews, and recurring compliance gate checks.
- Translate technical security findings into clear, prioritized guidance for product, platform, engineering, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles in medium to large organizations.
- Hands-on security engineering experience across cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Understanding of application security, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, and basic security testing or penetration testing.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and risk-based triage using CVSS, CISA KEV, or similar scoring.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, operations, and risk teams.
- CISSP certification.
