Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead solutioning, planning, and execution of long-term technical strategy aligned with business and clinical goals.
- Define architectural standards and drive long-term architecture across the organization.
- Advise engineering leadership and executives, including VPs and the CTO, on technical strategy and recommendations.
- Explore early-stage ideas and proofs of concept to de-risk future initiatives.
- Support the design and development of complex cross-team systems and products and mentor senior and staff-level engineers.
- Drive organization-wide collaboration, knowledge sharing, craftsmanship, innovation, and engineering process strategy.
- Ensure successful delivery of complex, cross-organizational projects with company-wide impact.
- Champion AI adoption across engineering and products.
- Participate in production on-call support and provide senior technical support during incidents.
- Partner with product, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate goals into technical architecture and requirements.
- Estimate technical scope and timelines for large, cross-team initiatives and develop scalable, stable, efficient, maintainable, and extensible solutions.
- Advocate for engineers and align technical decisions with business priorities.
Requirements
- Deep experience in systems, architecture, design, and solving complex technical problems.
- Track record of setting technical strategy and aligning multiple engineering teams.
- Experience defining architectural standards and mentoring engineers.
- Deep understanding of frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and all layers of web and mobile solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.
- Experience delivering mobile digital products to the Apple and Google Play app stores; React Native experience is a plus.
- Experience using AI as a transformative technology.
- Experience hosting application services on AWS.
- Experience in healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
- Strong collaboration, coaching, and communication skills, including communication with executive stakeholders.
- Comfort exploring early-stage ideas amid ambiguity and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment.
