Base Salary

$127k - $217k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs and develop software use cases.
  • Perform software architecture trade studies, modifications, and interface definition development.
  • Lead junior engineers in software development.
  • Perform unit and integration testing, participate in peer reviews, and support system and flight testing.
  • Create software documentation and support solutions for autonomous systems in a multi-program environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • At least 3 years of C++ experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with autonomy and/or robotics software techniques.
  • At least 2 years of real-time software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Agile software development processes.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance after starting; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, a relevant Bachelor of Science degree, an active U.S. Secret clearance, mission systems and OMS/UCI experience, EW or radar familiarity, simulation development, continuous integration practices, and software testing experience.
  • Experience with JIRA, Git, and Jenkins is preferred.
  • Candidates must complete a CodeVue technical assessment and satisfy Boeing’s conflict-of-interest assessment process.
