Responsibilities

  • Build scalable applications supporting portfolio management, compliance, finance, data governance, operational risk, and human resources teams.
  • Work with development teams and Senior DevOps engineers to propose technical solutions and assist with implementations.
  • Build automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and manage services across AWS, Azure, on-premise Linux and Windows, and multi-platform environments.
  • Implement CI/CD processes with GitHub and GitHub Actions for high-velocity software delivery.
  • Develop automation for source-code management, configuration management, and operational collaboration.
  • Use Python, Shell or PowerShell, Groovy, CloudFormation, and Terraform to automate DevOps workflows.
  • Document user guides, defects, feature requests, and architecture designs.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of proven DevOps Engineering experience.
  • Experience deploying and managing services in AWS and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Git source control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience developing workflows in CI/CD orchestration tools, especially GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of software development processes involving Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Shell, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code.
  • Familiarity with Jira, pip, npm, uv, Gradle, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, ECR, Nexus, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Ability to work effectively within a Scrum team and independently.
  • AWS or Azure cloud certifications are preferred.
  • Application-development experience with Python, Groovy, or JavaScript is preferred.
  • Familiarity with application-security domains including static code analysis, SAST, DAST, SCA, and xSPM is preferred.
  • Financial-industry experience, strong documentation skills, continuous learning, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork are preferred.
