Responsibilities
- Develop strategic FIX client-facing and market-facing platforms for business needs.
- Engage with product owners and business sponsors to discuss requirements and priorities and manage communication and expectations.
- Improve test and deployment automation and increase continuous delivery maturity.
- Build an event-based, high-throughput Order Management Platform for the future-state cash equities architecture.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed business and IT stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with low-latency or real-time systems.
- Strong Core Java experience, including designing and building low-latency systems using architectures such as Zero GC.
- Good command of the Linux/UNIX command-line interface.
- Proficiency in the FIX protocol and cash equities domain knowledge, including DMA, DSA, managed, and PT order flows.
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling, including Groovy, Jenkins, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, design-thinking, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Aeron, profiling, and metrics collection.
