Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Redux (RTK Toolkit), and Vite.
  • Design and implement features for data visualization platforms and portals with cross-functional teams.
  • Write maintainable, efficient code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop, maintain, and test RESTful APIs for data processing and handling.
  • Resolve complex software issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply attention to detail to improve user interactions and user experience.
  • Use AI tooling to accelerate development while maintaining human oversight.
  • Stay current with full-stack web development trends and apply relevant technologies to the stack.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Some exposure to frontend frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or VueJS.
  • Understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other frontend technologies.
  • Experience writing automated tests and understanding or recommending testing strategies; Vitest and React Testing Library experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, algorithmic, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced setting.
  • Preferred experience includes MapboxGL, Leaflet.js, OpenLayers, TypeScript, Material UI, monorepos, WCAG 2.2, AWS, relational databases, SQL, Node.js, Go, Python, or Ruby.
  • Ability to collaborate with design teams and provide feedback during UX iteration.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of 48,000 to 65,000 EUR annually.
