Base Salary
$115k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement a state-of-the-art enterprise software platform to seamlessly integrate Freeform’s business processes from sales to manufacturing.
- Develop applications to track the end-to-end lifecycle of millions of parts across thousands of customers around the world.
- Work cross-functionally with other engineering and operations disciplines to gather requirements and solve problems with your code.
- Create highly scalable and resilient systems to meet Freeform’s high bar for quality, reliability, and security.
- Maintain accessibility and integrity of the backend data model to enable easy access for business intelligence users.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces with a focus on functionality over aesthetics to increase system usability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional, post-graduation experience in modern software development languages.
- Experience with backend web frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Experience with frontend web frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Experience writing applications which interact with SQL databases and non-relational databases.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding agents to accelerate development workflows is a plus.
- Experience interfacing with microcontrollers, FPGA, or GPU computing hardware is a plus.
- Experience developing embedded or real-time software systems is a plus.
- Strong communicator who collaborates across disciplines and proactively seeks support when needed.
- Willing to take ownership of tasks big and small, with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
