Base Salary
$223k - $359k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack products from an empty repository to production for real users.
- Own a product area through discovery, design, implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Make and document architecture, data model, and technical tradeoff decisions.
- Conduct user discovery with manufacturing operators and customers to identify underlying problems.
- Ship quickly while maintaining readable, tested code and feeding successful requirements into the core platform.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering experience shipping full-stack applications, working in large codebases, and technically leading critical projects.
- Strong system design skills involving services, APIs, and scalable data models.
- Strong product intuition and experience taking products from 0 to 1 in unclear environments.
- Experience working directly with users and translating customer needs into shipped software.
- Use of AI across the engineering workflow with a demonstrated bias to action.
- Prior aerospace, defense, or manufacturing experience is not required.
- Preferred qualifications include founder or founding engineer experience, product ownership without a PM, operations tooling experience, forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience, technical consulting experience, and a strong GitHub or other visible body of work.
