Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and scale React or Angular frontend interfaces with dynamic generative UI elements and real-time streaming outputs.
- Optimize frontend performance, data flows, state management, authentication, and responsive rendering.
- Use AI coding agents throughout design, coding, testing, code review, and refactoring.
- Build components that consume and render RAG and multi-agent system outputs, including streamed structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with backend and AI engineering teams to handle LLM-powered API latency, streaming, and error states.
- Partner with enterprise subject matter experts to translate business challenges into technical architectures.
- Deliver solutions end to end from scoping and prototyping through production deployment.
- Document deployment learnings, share best practices, and contribute to AI platforms and frameworks.
- Support frontend CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, environment configuration, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Apply automated testing, secure frontend practices, code reviews, refactoring, and production monitoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong HTML/CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or agentic development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
- Experience building modern React or Angular applications that handle streaming data or real-time query responses.
- Experience building interfaces for RAG and AI agent systems with streaming and real-time rendering.
- Experience with software delivery lifecycle practices, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience partnering with enterprise customers and subject matter experts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications, multiple integrations, REST APIs, authentication and authorization, error handling, versioning, and JSON.
- Knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based design, separation of concerns, and maintainable state management.
- Experience treating unit, integration, and mocking tests as part of development.
- Security-minded frontend development experience, including secure token and secret handling and awareness of XSS and CSRF.
- Ability to diagnose production issues using logging, monitoring, and telemetry tools and to participate in code reviews and refactoring.
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience.
- Preferred experience includes Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Redux, NgRx, Zustand, micro-frontends, cloud platforms, technical certifications, AI platform contributions, enterprise modernization, and an advanced technical degree.
