Responsibilities
- Design VLA and Action World Model architectures for high-success-rate robotic task execution.
- Develop data-efficient co-training strategies and learning algorithms using internet-scale video and human intervention data.
- Build models that adapt zero-shot or few-shot to new robot configurations and changing hardware.
- Formulate and deploy reinforcement learning and policy extraction methods for real-world manipulation.
- Collaborate on data collection systems that capture human intervention data for model bootstrapping.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Advanced understanding of transformers, multimodal alignment, and mapping perception to high-frequency motor control.
- Proven ability to innovate in VLA models, real-world reinforcement learning, or large-scale data infrastructure.
- Expert-level Python skills and deep familiarity with PyTorch or JAX.
- High-impact publications or significant open-source contributions are preferred.
- Experience with large-scale distributed training, model compression, and deployment to NVIDIA Jetson/Orin edge devices is preferred.
- General knowledge of robotics principles, including kinematics and dynamics, is preferred.
