Base Salary
$158k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions across frontend and backend systems.
- Shape technical direction by establishing engineering standards, contributing to shared libraries, and driving full-stack design reviews.
- Build new advisor-focused capabilities, including the Secure Message Center and other greenfield 0-to-1 products.
- Mentor, coach, and empower junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, code review, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across time zones to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
- Communicate technical ideas and set project direction while solving business challenges.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience; Staff-level or above experience is preferred.
- Strong full-stack proficiency, including modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, or Vue and server-side languages such as Java.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex distributed systems and scalable production web applications.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, microservices, and server-side integration patterns.
- Experience building greenfield products and creating 0-to-1 products.
- Track record of mentoring engineers, setting high standards for code quality, and fostering an inclusive engineering culture.
- Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment.
- Background or interest in wealth management, fintech, or financial advisor workflows.

- Base salary range of $158,000–$248,000 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
