Responsibilities
- Support discovery and technical validation for a sound-based AV synchronization approach.
- Prototype and implement mobile functionality for iOS.
- Conduct on-site testing in Salt Lake City to validate performance in a physical environment.
- Troubleshoot synchronization issues across mobile devices, AV content, and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with project leadership and technical stakeholders on implementation strategy.
- Document technical findings, assumptions, risks, and recommendations.
- Develop flexible, scalable implementation patterns that avoid dependence on a single AV Sync vendor.
- Develop, test, and launch scalable web and mobile applications.
- Consult with clients on technology stacks, development workflows, QA processes, and deployment strategies.
- Determine whether the final solution requires additional engineering support or can remain lightweight.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong mobile development experience across iOS.
- At least 2 years of experience with a frontend framework such as ReactJS or AngularJS.
- At least 1 year of experience with backend technologies such as NodeJS, C#, Java, Golang, Scala, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with NPM, Maven, or Gradle.
- Experience setting up and deploying applications through a CI/CD pipeline.
- Experience collaborating with client teams and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with business and technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related area, or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with audio or AV synchronization, media playback, or real-time systems.
- Preferred understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
- Preferred experience with Docker, AWS, or Azure.
- Preferred experience integrating third-party web APIs and SDKs.
- Preferred UI/UX, usability, and cross-browser, platform, and device testing experience.
