Responsibilities

Lead software solution development and deployment from design through production.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and implement integrated product functionality.
Engage clients and internal teams to architect solutions and enhance product capabilities.
Establish and maintain enterprise-grade APIs across services for interoperability and scalability.
Build backend applications in Python using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SMS, ECS, and other cloud technologies.
Implement serverless, cloud-native backend code using Flask, AWS Lambda, and ECS.
Design scalable systems for high-volume transactions with strong reliability and robustness.
Apply security best practices throughout development and deployment.
Conduct code reviews and maintain software quality standards.
Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, manage work independently, and drive projects to completion.
Represent software products to stakeholders and provide technical insights and solutions.

7+ years of related job experience with broad technical skills.
Strong experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, and React.
Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, and indexing techniques.
Experience with microservices, API-based applications, distributed caching, cloud deployment, infrastructure as code, and security-focused development.
Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Zsh, Python, Node.js, and similar tools.
Experience with Git code management, preferably in a monorepository.
Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing with frameworks such as Playwright.
Ability to improve system scalability and observability and to solve complex technical problems.
Technical lead experience gathering functional and non-functional requirements, or strong technical product management experience, is a plus.
Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager experience is a plus.
