Base Salary

$116k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead software solution development and deployment from design through production.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and implement integrated product functionality.
  • Engage clients and internal teams to architect solutions and enhance product capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-grade APIs across services for interoperability and scalability.
  • Build backend applications in Python using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SMS, ECS, and other cloud technologies.
  • Implement serverless, cloud-native backend code using Flask, AWS Lambda, and ECS.
  • Design scalable systems for high-volume transactions with strong reliability and robustness.
  • Apply security best practices throughout development and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain software quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, manage work independently, and drive projects to completion.
  • Represent software products to stakeholders and provide technical insights and solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related job experience with broad technical skills.
  • Strong experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, and React.
  • Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, and indexing techniques.
  • Experience with microservices, API-based applications, distributed caching, cloud deployment, infrastructure as code, and security-focused development.
  • Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Zsh, Python, Node.js, and similar tools.
  • Experience with Git code management, preferably in a monorepository.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing with frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Ability to improve system scalability and observability and to solve complex technical problems.
  • Technical lead experience gathering functional and non-functional requirements, or strong technical product management experience, is a plus.
  • Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager experience is a plus.
