Senior Backend Developer - Integrations

Responsibilities
- Lead software solution development and deployment from design through production.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to refine and implement requirements.
- Engage clients and internal stakeholders to architect solutions and enhance product functionality.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-grade APIs across services for interoperability and scalability.
- Build backend applications in Python using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SMS, ECS, and other cloud technologies.
- Implement backend code in a serverless, cloud-native environment using Flask, AWS Lambda, and ECS.
- Design scalable systems capable of handling high-volume transactions with robustness and reliability.
- Apply security best practices throughout development and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain software quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, make architectural decisions, and drive timely software delivery.
- Represent software products to stakeholders and provide technical insights and solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related job experience with broad technical skills.
- Strong experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, TypeScript, and React.
- Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge, including common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, and indexing techniques.
- Experience with microservices, API-based applications, distributed caching, cloud delivery, infrastructure as code, and security-focused development.
- Experience with AWS and Terraform, and demonstrated ability to improve system scalability and observability.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Zsh, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with Git code management, preferably in a monorepository.
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing with frameworks such as Playwright.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Technical lead experience collecting functional and non-functional requirements or strong technical product management experience is a plus.
- Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager experience is a plus.
