Base Salary

$108k - $140k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale distributed, API-driven systems supporting tens of thousands of users.
  • Own data ingestion and develop system-driven approaches to improve data accuracy, reliability, and quality.
  • Diagnose data and platform issues end-to-end through complex pipelines, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
  • Develop AI-powered solutions, agents, intelligent workflows, search capabilities, and business automation.
  • Improve monitoring, telemetry, observability, anomaly detection, automated diagnostics, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Research, and Data teams to identify and deliver high-impact technology opportunities.
  • Write scalable, maintainable code and contribute to software design standards, code reviews, and technology adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person university or college.
  • At least 4 years of full-stack software development experience with C#, .NET, React, JavaScript, and relational databases including SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing and building large-scale distributed, service-oriented applications.
  • Experience with database design, SQL development, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with AI development tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent-based architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring, telemetry, observability, and automated diagnostics platforms.
  • Understanding of data quality principles, data governance, and data-centric application design.
  • Preferred experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, or similar technologies.
  • Preferred experience implementing AI agents, intelligent search, workflow automation, or generative AI applications.
  • Preferred experience deploying LLM or machine learning solutions using Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Azure ML, or SageMaker.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to deliver pragmatic, scalable, maintainable solutions.
