Base Salary
$101k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ITIL application maintenance processes, including incident, problem, change, release, service request, knowledge, CMDB, capacity, and availability management.
- Provide P1/P2 production support, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, SLA adherence, root-cause analysis, hotfixes, and small enhancements.
- Monitor and improve observability, reliability, performance, capacity, disaster recovery, backup/restore, and resilience.
- Build and enhance Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and applicable React UI components.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate environments, and coordinate releases across development, QA, pre-production, and production.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Security, Cloud, Platform, Network, and DBA teams on technical designs, delivery plans, and operational improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering, quality, and operational maturity using generative AI where appropriate.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically 4+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of experience developing Java, Spring Boot, and microservices applications.
- Strong application maintenance, production support, and ITIL experience.
- Proven DevOps, CI/CD, release engineering, troubleshooting, and hybrid cloud architecture experience.
- Advanced experience with logs, metrics, APM tools such as Dynatrace, and production incident management.
- Experience with GitHub Actions is required; experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, Elastic, Kafka, CDC patterns, GCP operations, and eCommerce or B2B platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Jira workflows, prioritization, reporting, technical planning, and stakeholder alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
