Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Own major product initiatives from initial design through delivery coordination across Backend, Frontend, and Product teams.
- Establish and drive team-level best practices for code quality, testing strategies, and CI/CD processes.
- Analyze and debug complex technical challenges to support long-term system reliability.
- Coordinate cross-team risks and dependencies to ensure seamless feature delivery.
- Architect systems handling large volumes of external data with high availability and accuracy across diverse APIs and sources.
- Implement preventive measures and high-performance solutions to address scalability bottlenecks.
- Shape execution of major initiatives while balancing technical excellence with business milestones.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale backend development, with a strong emphasis on Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to debug complex technical issues.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience building scalable microservices architectures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for articulating technical ideas and collaborating across teams.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with AI-augmented software development tools such as Claude Code is preferred.
